Area chart

This is probably wishful thinking on my part, but... 

Is there any way to make an area chart "sort" the variables so that the 

variable which has the smallest average value is displayed in front? 

My users are often generating charts where a variable with a small average 

value is completely obscured behind a variable with a larger average 

variable. It would be nice if I could get the smallest variables to display 

in front, regardless of the order in which they were added to the chart.
