Getting mouse messages in non-activeX implementation

I've used the #import method to utilize the ChartFX object and I would like 

to be notified when the user double clicks on the chart window. 

The example application (which uses the ChartFX as an ActiveX control) uses 

an event_sink map to facilitate this. 

What is the equivalent method of receiving mouse double-click notification 

in a non-ActiveX implementation.
