User (Legacy) Posted October 9, 2001 Report Share Posted October 9, 2001 I am trying to do an XY Plot and draw a least squares linear regression line between the points. The line is not straight because I believe the ticks on the x-axis do not represent values, but points ( 1 - 15 ). I've tried assigning values to the a-axis, but I can only do it using the axis label. How do I make the x-axis a numerical axis so it can be manipulated using the adjustScale, Min, Max, and Step properties? User (Legacy) Posted October 10, 2001 Author Report Share Posted October 10, 2001 OK. I've figured out how to make the X axis numerical by setting the Chart Gallery to SCATTER. It brings in the correct values for the X Axis and it looks good. When I do this, however, I can no longer see the Series Gallery LINES for the linear regression line. Does anyone know of an option or setting that will allow a Series Gallery to sit on top the Chart Gallery?
