Step, Min, Max on Axis

Whenever I change Step or Minimum or Maximum using the contextmenu and only 

one!! of these for a Radar plot strange occurrences take place. For 

instance: Minimum to zero, then the displayed values are extremely small 

(near the minimum of double); step to 1: the application stops responding.

Does anybody know what is causing this?

Can I use some other event then the 'something changed' event ChangedByUser 

or can I get more information from this event by reading the 

ChangedByUserEventArgs?
