display custom control on toolbar item click

when I add a custom  button in the toolbar I do not wish to display

any of the  standard menu items provided by chart fx.

Rather I would like to display my own custom control just under the command 

item

i just clicked in the toolbar.

Is this possible? If so may I ahve an example
