sinamdar Posted March 5, 2013 Report Posted March 5, 2013 Chart FX 7.0(Web form) graphs rendered on web site developed using .NET Framework 3.5. We purchased license for DEV/TEST/PRODUCTION environment. BACKGROUND OF PROBLEM STATEMENT: ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Below is the procedure we follow to use graph in one of webpage: 1.) In Visual Studio 2008, Develop webpage with Charftx control on it. ChartFX 7.0(Web Forms) with DEV license installed on this development environment. 2.) Deploy webpage on TEST environment for testing purpose. ChartFX 7.0(Web Forms) with TEST license installed on this TEST environment. 3.)After testing, deploy that webpage on PRODUCTION environment. ChartFX 7.0(Web Forms) with PRODUCTION license installed on this PRODUCTION environment. At our end this is working as expected without any issues. PROBLEM STATEMENT ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- One of our client is going to use our already developed webpage with ChartFx control. As a part of process, using Visual Studio they need to compile code, already developed by us, on development environment at their end, after compilation they deploy code on their TEST/PRODUCTION server. Development environment in client company DO NOT HAVE ChartFX 7(Web form) INSTALLED , but they have licensed version installed on TEST/PRODUCTION server. Using Visual Studio, code compiled on development machine where ChartFX 7(Web form) NOT INSTALLED is not working on TEST server after deployment and throws issue(Please see attachment) Question: In Visual Studio how to compile code on machine where ChartFX 7(Web form) NOT INSTALLED, so that after deployment it will work on TEST/PRODUCTION environment without any issues? ( TEST/PRODUCTION environment have licensed version of ChartFx 7(Web form) installed) Please provide solution to this problem. Quote
