Passing ActiveDirectory username to SQL query?

Is there a way to dynamically pass the authenticated username of the person viewing the SharePoint page to the SoftwareFX webpart query, so that the query can use that username as a parameter in the query itself?

Did you every get an answer to this?  I have a similar issue.  I need to send the site name as the parameter value.
