Windows7: 'Couldn't get Run Time license for 'SoftwareFX.ChartFX.Chart'

Hi all

We have some problems with the runtime license on Windows7 (Using ChartFX for .NET 6.2).

After installing our application on Windows7 with all requested ChartFX files we always get the following exception:

  'Couldn't get Run Time license for 'SoftwareFX.ChartFX.Chart'

On WinXP everything works fine.

Do you may have a hint what could cause this problem?

Hi Tom Kauer

There is no difference in the licensing management between Microsoft Windows 7 and Microsoft Windows XP.  It seems the license is not being added to the executable file.  Please contact Software FX Support at suppot[at]softwarefx[dot]com for more information.  Please include (when contacting Support) your product serial number.
