benhamilton Posted August 5, 2010 Report Posted August 5, 2010 Hi all, I have a client where we have MYOB APM (formerly know as Viztopia) and ACT! by Sage running. If we update ACT! to the lastest version it updates the ChartFX component, and the MYOB App breaks (throws errors). If we copy back the MYOB version of the ChartFX then the new version of ACT! doesn't work properly. Is there any way to resolve this? Am I stuck with badgering both vendors (MYOB/Sage) until one of them can provide a fix? Or is there some way that I can get one app or the other to use a different copy? thanks in advance, Ben. Quote
CarlosAC Posted August 25, 2010 Report Posted August 25, 2010 Hi Ben Do both applications use the same directory? Are you adding the Chart FX dlls to the GAC? Normally, each Win application uses its own bin folder and the Chart dlls are independent for each application. Carlos Chaves Quote
