awoodland Posted July 27, 2010 Report Share Posted July 27, 2010 I'm evaluating Chart FX 7 for use by our company but I've run into a problem. In a SSRS report (VS 5) I replaced a Microsoft Chart (which was working just fine) with the Chart FX chart (bar chart). I chose the data source, adjusted the data to the chart, and set the various properties. When I tried to preview, after entering the parameters and clicking "view report" I received the following error: "An error occurred during local report processing. An error has occurred during processing of the CustomReportItem 'chart2' with the 'Chart' extension. The device is not ready." Don't know where to go from here. Please help! It looks like Chart FX 7 has some potentially great features but unless I can get it to work on this one simple report it's a non-starter.
