To work on this, we tried to check the GetTip event of the control and eventually found out that this event does not trigger in a specific case. Environment we are using: Visual Studio 2008, Smart Client application (which contains User Control views). This issue is observed when we switch between two user control views (which are in different modules/projects of the same solution).
