prayaggandhi
This is a repost again. I have asked this question before but have not received any answer yet. Would you please let me know if Chart FX 6.2 is compatible with Vista and Windows 7. Thanks, Prayag Gandhi
RandyJ
Hi, Yes, we have tested Chart FX 6.2 in Windows 7 and it is indeed compatible. Regards, RandyJ
prayaggandhi
Hi Randy, So when does Chart FX 6.2 shows Red X through the chart. This happens a lot on Windows Vista machine. None of my chart shows up properly on it. Thanks, Prayag
RandyJ
Hi, Does this problem happen only in Windows Vista? Have you been able to reproduce the same problem when attempting to render the chart on a different operating system? How are you rendering the chart (activex, image)? prayaggandhi
Randy, We are rendering the chart as an image. Right now our software only runs on Windows XP. We are trying to upgrade it for Windows Vista and for Windows 7. And we have run into problem with those.. Thanks, Prayag
prayaggandhi
Randy, We traced this issue to Annotations. If we add annotations to Chart in Windows Vista the chart throws internal exception when rendering. I hope this helps. Let me know if you can find some solution to this problem.
