  1. Thanks Frank, thats great. We don't install into the GAC at all, its another ISV doing that. Would you recommend we contact them and let them know that they are doing something not supported? James.
  2. Hi,<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:office" /> We are having problems with incompatible versions of ChartFx 6.2 that have the same assembly version. I was wondering if you could explain why you are releasing incompatible versions without changing the assembly version. We use ChartFx and keep all our assemblies in a private directory. The ChartFx.Base.DLL we use has an assembly version 6.2.1342.0 and file version of [font= 'Calibri','sans-serif'; mso-ansi-language: EN-AU; mso-fareast-font-family: Calibri; mso-fareast-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-ascii-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-hansi-theme-font: minor-latin; mso-bidi-theme-font: minor-latin" lang=EN-AU>6.2.1859.20539. However another company has also installed ChartFx, this time into the GAC. 6.2.2530.41428. As the assembly versions are the same .net loads the version out of the GAC which is incompatible with the rest of the ChartFX DLL
