ChartFx not showing up in Toolbox

 Hi,

I've installed ChartFx for Reporting Services (ChartFXRSTrial.exe).

 When I start VS2005 and make a Reporting Server Project, I don't see any ChartFX icon in the toolbar.

 How can I resolve this?

Any errors during install?

You can manually add the control to the ToolBox by right-clicking the ToolBox and selecting "Chose Items..."

 What .dll should I point to?

You need to add:

ChartFX.ReportingServices.Designer.dll

Im having the same issue with ChartFXRSTrial.exe. I have installed this without any issues, but ChartFx is not available with the toolbox. I tried to add the dll manually to the toolbox but the ChartFX.ReportingServices.Designer.dll is not available too. The available dlls are;

ChartFX.Designer.dll

ChartFX.ReportingServices.Adornments.dll

ChartFX.ReportingServices.Base.dll

ChartFX.ReportingServices.dll

ChartFX.ReportingServices.Gauge.Designer.dll

ChartFX.ReportingServices.Gauge.dll

Im using SQL Server 64-bit 2005 on Windows 64-bit 2008.

Please let me know how to solve this issue.

 PLease contact our support team at "support AT softwarefx DOT com". They will be able to provide you with a 64-bit version of the Chart FX for Reporting Services installer. That should solve any problems.

ChartFX.ReportingServices.Designer.dll does not appear as an option in the list called up by Choose Items in the toolbox context menu. I did not notice any errors during install.... This happened -- or didn't happen -- with the same experience on two separate workstations today.
