Allocating memory with Data.Points

I know that you can pre-allocate memory for points with Data.Points, but how do you do it for only one series?  I want to allocate series 0 with 80000 points, and series 1 with maybe only 50.  Is this even possible?

also, what are the recommended settings for using ~ 80000 data points?  In particular, I noticed heavy CPU usage when my mouse cursor is over the graph.  I already turned off tooltips.  What else do I need to turn off to stop all mouse hover related processes?

Set the Points property the 80000. The maximum between the two.

You may want to also turn off Highlighting:
