User (Legacy)
Hello, When exporting the chart as a metafile, it appears to be one item, rather than a group of different vectors. For other applications, e.g. LabVIEW, when you paste somewhere (like MS Word) you can then ungroup the items in the graph and delete/modify these items as if it were a normal vector drawing. Is this possible in Chart FX Client Server? I could not make it happen. Thanks, Abe Krebs
Software FX
Chart FX exports a standard Windows Enhanced Metafile which is composed by records containing the different components. I don't know what LabVIEW exports. It is possible with any metafile to go and change specific records, however, I don't think this will be very useful in Chart FX as each point is comprise by a myriad of vectors that will be very hard to manipulate individually. In Word 2003 you can right-click on the picture and select "Edit Picture" to convert it into Drawing Objects that you can manipulate independently. -- FP Software FX
