User (Legacy)
I am having problems with crosstab charts & non-crosstab charts that use the same chartfx control. Here is the scenario: The user defines charts in one module of my app. They can add pre-defined charts to a report (Active Reports 2 Pro) that is in a separate module of my application. (I only add a picture box, I don't add the actual activex control. See next statement) Since AR has on again off again issues with Chartfx, I am creating the charts using a chartfx control that is on the form and not on the report. Once the chart is done I then export the chart as a bitmap and then I import the bitmap into the report. This works great if all of the charts are non-crosstab charts. It also works great if all of the crosstab charts for a single report are created before any non-crosstab chart. But once non-crosstab chart is created then any subsequent crosstab charts to not paint correctly. Is there something that I need to do to "reset" the chart? User (Legacy)
Here are two version of the same chart. The file GoodCrosstab.bmp is when the crosstab was run first. The file BadCrosstab.bmp is when the crosstab was run after a non-crosstab. Software FX
I don't know what's causing this problem. I have been unable to reproduce it. Can you reproduce it WITHOUT Active Reports ? If you can, please send the code to support@softwarefx.com -- FP Software FX, Inc.
