Stacked Bar with min, mid and max

Recommended Posts

I trying to evaluate Chart FX to see if it can do a certain kind of graph

that I need.

Basically I need a stacked bar graph that also has three lines showing a

min, mid and max. I have attached a very simple sample showing this.

Can Chart FX do this? I looked through the documentation and samples, I

wasn't sure if it could.

TIA,

Brian

Although this type of chart is not built in, you can do it with some work

using annotation objects.

You can create these horizontal and vertical lines as annotation objects and

attach them to the appropriate X-Y coordinates at both ends (Attach

elastic).

It is going to be some work but your will get exactly what you want. For

more information check the Annotation help file.

Where can I get the annontation documentation? I downloaded and installed

the trial edition of Chart FX Internet 5.5 and all of the other help files

are there. There is a link in the start menu->Programs-Chart FX Internet

TRIAL->Annotations Object Reference API but when I click on it, windows

tries to search for the missing file. I looked in the help directory of the

chart fx directory and it is not there (the other help docs are there). I

reran the setup to make sure everything was selected (and they were).

I think it is mistakely missing in the download trial version of Chart FX

Internet 5.5 because it puts a link to it my start folder but the file is

never installed nor is in the zipped up .exe. Can you all look into this

and possibly provide me the file because I'm going to need it to see if

Chart FX can create my graph.
