Software FX
Hello, This was for somebody else who was getting this problem with out printing. When printing it is normal if the printout does not match the screen completely since the dimensions of the screen and of printer paper are not the same. If you still have the stripped down sample I will be happy to take a look at it. IMPORTANT NOTE: In an effort to provide the most advanced solutions in conjunction with the most comprehensive technical support structure, Software FX will implement a Paid-Support Program beginning January 1, 2001 for all existing and future Software FX application users. The specific details of the Paid-Support Program will be released in an upcoming broadcast e-mail, as well as on our website. Please be aware that the online technical support web site at http://support.softwarefx.com will continue to be available without charge. In my application, the zoomed-in area shows OK on the screen, but occasionally the printed copy is of a different area. Eventually, Tony Schneider took it over. I sent him a stripped-down copy of my application that showed the problem, but never heard back. I finally just gave up. It's an in-house application, and I just told the users to always check Print Preview before printing. If the problem occurs, it will show up on the Preview. It's a pain but I had to move on. I just installed the latest service pack (Cfx4032.ocx is version 4.0.19.0, dated 10/20/2000) The problem's still there. Please verify that you are using the latest service pack. We have been able to reproduce in the past problems associated to the graph lines going outside of the plot area but we have never experienced a problem where points were missing or zooming on a different area. If you are experiencing this problem and you are using the latest update of ChartFX then please send us a sample project that allows us to reproduce the problem.
