API Help file, Search Tab

Hi all, 

In the help file on the Search tab...  I was going nuts looking for BottomGap, it was there just yesterday!  I would assume (stupid on my part) that if I search for "gap" it would show up.

I have to put in "*gap". 

Is this the way these .chm files are supposed to search?  The only other options are the Logical (AND OR NEAR NOT) or the check boxes at the bottom but they don't offer a MATCH PARTIAL WORD.

Have I learned to always enter "*word*"?
