User (Legacy)
I've recently installed a service pack which upgraded our client actvex control to version 5.5.3.0, and I have a couple of concerns. I expected that the CfxSvr.ini file would automatically be changed to match the current client control version, but I had to do this manually. Will I have to change this manually for all future upgrades? And second, after the upgrade on a test client machine, the graph would not display properly until we rebooted the machine. Is this normal behavoir or is there some setting I missed? Thanks.
Software FX
None of these situations are normal so they should not repeat in the future. We have seen IE show a message saying that a reboot is required sometimes when other instances of the browser have the same control open but we have not found a way to reproduce it consistently. The non-modification of the INI has only been reported a handful of times and we are still trying to find out why the service pack may fail to update this file. -- Regards JC Software FX Support "Tom Grube" <tgrube@relware.com> wrote in message news:ImOzIYE1BHA.2108@webserver1.softwarefx.com... > I've recently installed a service pack which upgraded our client actvex > control to version 5.5.3.0, and I have a couple of concerns.
