If you are using ChartFX IE 2000 we recommend you use the following code 

Chart.SerLegBoxObj.Font.Size = XX 

Chart.SerLegBoxObj.Font.Name = "Verdana"

I had a peek into cfxie.inc and found CHART_LEGENDFT. I assume this constant 

is relevant.
