User (Legacy)
I am trying to get support for my trial of Chartfx 2000 Internet Edition. I want to use it to replace a more costly java charting package, but I can't get the trial to work. I downloaded the trial last week and installed it, it does not work. The activex contol won't function. The netscape plug in keeps prompting me there is a "new version" avaliable. The only thing that appears to work is the server image generation. The design control does not work either (it givers an error "Cannot create ChartFX IE DTC. Please reinstall Designer Components"). The help files are in html help, which is not installed on my windows 95 laptop. The support website will not allow me to access it. I don't know what is going on, but the entire distribution seems to not function correctly. My platform is windows 95 with pws. Also, although you are touting Cold Fusion support in this release, none of your examples actually appear to be using Cold Fusion. It would be nice to have some CF examples, as this is the environment that I am working in. Chris Denslow
