User (Legacy)
ChartFX Lite licencing seems to be broken. I downloaded ChartFX Lite, and I received the registration number via E-mail. Installation went well, and I made sure that I typed the license exactly as given to me [I copied it from the mail and pasted it in the installer]. The chart displays well in the Visual Studio IDE in design time, and it responds to property changes as expected. But it refuses to compile. When I compile the program containing a chart, I get an error message: "Could not transform licences file "licences.lic" into a binary into a binary resource. The format of the file lc.exe is invalid". I am using Visual Studio.NET version 7.0.9466, and .NET Framework ver 1.0. The program was written in C#. Can anyone help me with this one? Thanks

Software FX
Sometimes VS.NET will not update properly the licenses.licx file, please try the following - Open the licenses.licx file located in your project's folder - Remove the line (if any) that refers to ChartFX Lite - Add the following line to the licenses file SoftwareFX.ChartFX.Lite.Chart, ChartFX.Lite, Version=6.0.839.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=a1878e2052c08dce - Recompile your program -- Regards, JC Software FX Support "WSemmelink" <willems@DigiCore.co.za> wrote in message news:ZGCcfSb#CHA.1248@webserver1.softwarefx.com... > ChartFX Lite licencing seems to be broken. > > I downloaded ChartFX Lite, and I received the registration number via > E-mail.
