User (Legacy)
I've downloaded the ChartFXLiteNet.exe. When i double click on this exe my mouse cursor changes to a waiting hourglass for 5 seconds then reverts back to the default cursor. As far as i can tell it creates a directory "c:\program files\common files\install fx" and into which it places a IfxRegistration.dll file. I check my system processes and there is one called ChartFXLiteNet. My system is Win2k and im connected to my company LAN with internet access via firewall Does anyone have any ideas Steve. Software FX
Steve, When you go to http://www.chartfx.com/GetChartFXLite/ you can chose from 3 different sites. That's what I meant by "which site". Please try re-downloading from a different one, there is nothing I can tell about what's happening with the information you are giving me. I do know we have had hundreds of successful downloads and installs. -- FP Software FX, Inc.

User (Legacy)
Just to eliminate a corrupt exe i have downloaded the lite installation (.exe) from all 3 sites you offer it from. I have turned of all download managers (getright) also. Again same results for all 3 exe's. I get a hourglass for 5 seconds, then nothing at all happens. I find a new Install FX directory in the common files and a process running the install.exe What other information do you need? Steve. User (Legacy)
I tried another download and the install still hangs with no window or anything. I have ChartFX 2 installed, and I also had the trial of Chart FX for .Net installed before. I removed it because I couldn't add a chart to an Active Report without getting errors. Any ideas? Which version of ChartFX should I use if we only need to use charts on Active Reports for .net? We are serving them up via asp.net. User (Legacy)
Hi. Just so you know, I'm running Win2K SP3 and .NET SP2 I've tried running the installer with the /N option and I get a little further now. I now get a window prompting for my serial number. I enter my serial number and it tells me "I need a connection to the internet". I do have a connection to the internet through my companies LAN and firewall. I have attached my installfx.log as requested. Any help appreciated. Steve.
