User (Legacy)
I cannot get the ChartFX.Lite component to work on Windows 98/Me. The attached zip has a text file(ChartFXProblem.txt) that shows the significant part of the exception that gets thrown. It appears to be related to the licensing check phase of when the component is initialized. The component is properly licensed in the target exe because it runs fine on win2000, winnt, and XP boxes (that don't have development licenses). I have also included a simple app to show the problem. Simply select the "Test" menu item and it brings up a form with the control. Any resolve to this would be nice. I know that this is a free-bee and it's a great component. All of my future apps that require charting I will purchase and use the full blown version--promise. However, I'm trying to develop a deployment project for my existing project and my customer was expecting to be able to target '98 boxes. Software FX
We have fixed this problem, a new build should be available shortly (We are trying to release it at the same time as our new beta drop for the full version but if this is very urgent we could get you a new interim build). -- Regards JC Software FX Support "Brent Evans" <persist@nauticom.net> wrote in message news:VhuuSJ75BHA.1184@webserver1.softwarefx.com... > I cannot get the ChartFX.Lite component to work on Windows 98/Me.
