User (Legacy)
I had been using the ChartFX trial. We ordered the official product and installed it. I had created graphs using the trial. Now I see the graphs in the Layout View but not in Preview Mode. What are the exact steps to go from trial to official version? Is there a way to do it where I won't lose all of the graphs already created? -Lori

Software FX
The conversion is automatic. The controls are the same, the only thing that changes is the license. So your reports are good. You seem to be having some sort of installation problem. What error are you getting when you go to preview mode ? Can you create new reports with charts in them ? Do they show in Preview mode ? -- Francisco Padron www.chartfx.com

User (Legacy)
Thanks for quick response. No errors. It's just blank when it shouldn't be. I tried adding a new chartfx into an existing report and those are not visible either. I did check the Add/Remove Programs on windows, and I only see the trial. When installing, I got an error about C:\Program Files\Microsoft Visual Studio 8\Common7\IDE\PrivateAssemblies\ChartFX.ReportingServices.Base.dll being read-only. I checked the attributes of that file and it was not read-only, so I told it to ignore the error. -Lori "SoftwareFX Support" <noreply@softwarefx.com> wrote in message news:82kHeAzYGHA.3992@webserver3.softwarefx.com... > The conversion is automatic.
