Bug in displaying curve charts?

My data looks like such:

2006-03-17 100%

2006-03-18 100%

2006-03-19 100%

2006-03-20 100%

2006-03-21 100%

2006-03-22 100%

2006-03-23 99.999965%

2006-03-27 100%

2006-03-28 99.999982%

Using the curve gallery, between the 21st and the 22nd, the curving line

goes up over the 100% line, even though there is no data up there. This is

happening on another chart too where the highest value is .00072%, yet the

line goes outside of the chart before going onto the next point.

I also think the curve isn't being drawn when 2 consecutive points are both

zeros.

I've attached the 2nd one as a picture to this post.

This is by design.

Unlike Line Chart, The Curve chart tries to smooth the transition between

points. This may mean, in some cases to go beyond the max value to then go

to the next point, it all depends on what's before and what's after.

In your case, the case is probably that since your scale is so small, the

change from 100 to 99.999965 is pretty big, then to go back to 100, the

curve needs to be flexed in order to make it smooth. If you simply want a

line connecting your points without making smooth transitions, chose a Line

chart instead.
