User (Legacy) Posted March 15, 2006 Report Posted March 15, 2006 Hello. I have some problems with the access to the ChartFX tools. I have installed the Chart FX for .NET & Pocket Chart FX for .NET trial version from the download site and I would like to use it for MFC appliations like dialogs or SDIs under Visual Studio .net IDE (V. 2003). The integration of the FX tools into the IDE was successful (e.g. FX help works and the tools are provided for import into the toolbox) but I can't import the charts into my applications (they occur in the toolbox window but they are not activated ("grayed out")). There were no error messages neither during the installation nor while I tried to import the tools. If there is any solution of the problem, please tell me. Thank you very much. Oliver Berndt
Software FX Posted March 16, 2006 Report Posted March 16, 2006 Both of these are >NET Controls, if you are creating an unmanaged C++ App, you will have to use them through COM Interop and they will not have a design-time presence. For unmanaged COM (MFC) applications the best way to go is use Chart FX Client Server. -- Francisco Padron www.chartfx.com
