We are starting the project in .NET 1.1 and will release it in .NET 2.0 sometime next year. If we purchase the chart fx now will we have to pay for a upgrade to 7.0? Software FX Posted June 24, 2005 Report Share Posted June 24, 2005 First, let me say I'm not in sales so the information I give you may not be completely accurate, I recommend you contact our sales staff either through e-mail or phone, this newsgroup is for technical discussions. Pricing on ChartFX for .NET 7.0 has not been defined yet, including upgrade price, in the past some upgrades have been free but some others have not. At this time it looks like .NET 2.0 is going to be released in Nov. 2005, so that's about 5 months from now. Normally, when we come up with an upgrade we offer either a free upgrade or a very inexpensive upgrade (for example if the new product is more expensive) to people that bought the product recently.
