Mouse Move event not fired in pie legend

I  have a pie chart with a legend at the bottom of the screen. I'm trapping

the mousemove event but find that whilst it tracks the movement of the mouse

on the chart itself, once I move the cursor into the legend area the event

is not being fired. This seems like a bug to me!

I'm using version 6.0.1353.24751 (chartfx.dll).

Unfortunately this is by design, only MouseDown events are supported at the

tool (legend box, Data editor, etc.) level. I will note this as a suggestion

for a future release.

Can you please give us a little bit of background on what exactly are you

trying to do?
