User (Legacy)
Is there a limit to the number of points I can have on the x-axis?
Software FX
No. Well, you can have up to 2 billion points in your chart. That would be the only limit. Are you having a problem with large amounts of data ? -- FP Software FX, Inc.
User (Legacy)
we had one incident where we tried to display about 130000 points on a chart. Instead of displaying the data, it just drew a red diagonal cross on a white background. unfortunately we haven't been able to reproduce this and I was wondering if it is related to the number points on the chart. What are the circumstances when the chart will draw itself in this way? Software FX
A big red "X" is drawn when an exception occurs during painting. This should never happen under normal circumstances. It might be a bug. If it happens again, please e-mail us the chart binary file that generated the problem. You can obtain the chart file by calling the export method. Thank you. -- FP Software FX, Inc.
