User (Legacy)
hi I am using a dataset with 3 columns as a data source for chartfx. I am displaying the data as 3 series on 2 Y axis. in a bar chart. The first 2 series r displayed on the Main Y axis and the 3rd on the Secondary Y axis. When I have -ve values for the data to be plotted the chart selects different points(level) along the Y axis as 0(starting point). So the plotted data looks weird. It works fine if the data is +ve. Is this a bug or do I have to set some properties. Please advice Thanks in advance andrew
Software FX
I don't understand the question, do you mean you want the ZERO for the primary Y-Axis to be ALIGNED with the ZERO for the secondary Y-Axis ? This will not happen automatically, out will need to perform some calculations to adjust the Min and max of one of the axis to align the align both zero lines. I think I've doe this at some point, I'll look into my files to see if I can find a the piece of code that does the trick, but it is just simple math. -- FP Software FX, Inc. User (Legacy)
hi thats exactly what I want the ZERO for the primary Y-Axis to be ALIGNED with the ZERO for the secondary Y-Axis. Shouldnt this be a built in feature tough??? As u can see from the attachedscreen shot if this happens then the graph makes no sense at all. Would appreciate getting ur code if u can find it.
