User (Legacy)
We have a problem installating ChartFx our build machine, the installation seems to hang when it's executed. When we attempt to build our winform application on this machine we're getting a licensing error. I'd actually like to know how the licensing process works. Do we need to install chartfx on every machine that needs to build our application ? Is there another way to license a machine for ChartFX ? Software FX
Yes, you need to install (and have a license for) every machine that compiles an application that uses Chart FX either directly or indirectly (by using a DLL that in turn uses Chart FX). Do you get a problem installing in every machine ? if not what OS and version does the machine in which the install hangs has ? -- FP Software FX, Inc. Software FX
Try running the setup with the /N parameter from the command prompt, as follows: CfxNetDevelopment /N Make sure you have one license for each computer in which you install Chart FX, to comply with our license agreement. You can contact sales at sales@softwarefx.com for further details about this licensing issue. --- IG Software FX Support "Michael Lang" <michael@fusiongrp.com> wrote in message news:t#67yZC9CHA.2684@webserver1.softwarefx.com... > We have a problem installating ChartFx our build machine, the installation > seems to hang when it's executed. > > When we attempt to build our winform application on this machine we're > getting a licensing error. > > I'd actually like to know how the licensing process works.
