Crashes on Windows 8 x64, Powershell 3. No exception thrown, just crash/burn. I was piping some ordinary data to it, nothing special. Minidump did not contain exception code or information

The installer completed without problems, but the snap-in didn't register, so I don't have out-chart and so on available (cmdlet not recognised). Windows 8, 64-bit, PS3.
