I have a chart inside an asp:view. The entire asp:multiview is inside asp:updatepanel. If the chart's view is not the selected view on the initial page load, ajax callbacks to switch to the chart view cause the script link for the javascript not to render. All the context menus for the chart are visible. Is there a way to get the script tag loaded properly for ajax calls if the chart is not present during the first page load?

Does the same situation apply to asp multiview? In another project, I have a chart inside an asp view and when I ajaxify the mutliview control, the chart disappears but only for the .net render format

I have a chart inside an asp UpdatePanel. If the render format is set to .NET, any ajax calls cause the chart to disappear. Image format works fine. I've attached a simple project with an default chart and a checkbox to duplicate the issue.

I recently converted our development machine into a virtual machine. Now I'm getting this error on charts. I've tried uninstalling, deleting and reinstalling several times with our original install version to no avail. Other similar posts on this error talk about getting the latest installer. I downloaded what I think is the latest ChartFX62COM.exe install file and that hangs on the install after putting in the serial number. I get a popup window with a grey bar with nothing in it and the install is stuck at that point. I'm at a loss as to what to try next. Any suggestions? This is running under Windows 2000 Advanced Server SP4
