  1. Sorry Francisco, There are no winform controls on those pages. I will create a quick test and see if that makes any difference. Thanks for the help. 2. Hello, I have a bar chart created in 6.2 positioned directly over a datagrid. I would like to align the bars of the chart over the columns of the graph. I have manipulated the the colums of the datagrid so that all the should be needed is for the bars to be shifted a little towards the right of the Y axis. Would I need to manipulate the volume in the first series? Is there a way to shift the bars from the Y axis? Thanks. Russ Murray
  3. Not sure l understand, our graphing page is not the first page loaded, there are atleast 2 pages loaded first, both with .NET controls on them. In the Task Manager can l see the framework being loaded? 5. Hi Using Windows XP with Delphi 2006 and ChartFX version 5.0.10.4 and have the following problem When outputting the chart to the printer we occasionally have problems whereby the output is corrupt, e.g. the font of the labels is the wrong size, parts of the chart are missing, parts are partially drawn, etc. Other times, outputting exactly the same chart prints correctly. I can't think why sometimes it works and other times it doesn't - could there be some memory corruption? Has anyone else experienced this problem ? Stephen
  6. Is there anything else we can try speed up the initial loading of the chart? 8. I can successfully create and handle callbacks for dynamically created charts if a I use a normal code behind file in asp.net. However, in this instance, I need to use a script only page. The chart renders fine but the ajax callbacks don´t appear to trigger the callback request to the page. I´m certain I´m just not wiring up an event or some other attribute. Any clues? <%@ Page Language="C#" AutoEventWireup="true" MasterPageFile = "~/MasterPage.Master" EnableViewState="true" Inherits="System.Web.UI.Page" %> <%@ Import Namespace="System" %> <%@ Import Namespace="Syst

  10. We have the application running in the production site and it's backed up with SAN storage. Whenever there is any problem, the DR (disaster recovery) site will be turned on and the whole system will be mirrored to the DR servers. And the production server will be off. When we test the DR system several months ago, it works fine with the charts. However, we test again last week, all the charts becomes 'Invalid license'... How can we cater this kind of system setup to make sure the charts are working fine in the DR site?
  11. Hi, Thanks for the reply. Right now I'm using using a datatable and just binding to the chart with something like: Chart1.DataSourceSettings.DataType(0) = DataType.Label Chart1.DataSourceSettings.DataType(1) = DataType.Value Chart1.DataSourceSettings.DataType(2) = DataType.Value Chart1.DataSourceSettings.DataSource = dt Chart1.DataBind() There's a lot of other code, but basically it just sets the colors and fonts. Will I be able to do something similar or will I have to input the values manually into the chart? Thanks, Chris "Software FX" <noreply@softwarefx.com> wrote i

  14. I don´t understand, earlier you said there should be a reference to clientloader.dll. And l don´t see any speed difference with useclientloader set to true or false "Software FX" <noreply@softwarefx.com> wrote in message news:JwNSLM4IHHA.244@webserver3.softwarefx.com... > The Client Loader is being used. 17. I have a Bar chart with OLAP Extension. We are using the Tree style for the dimensions. I would like all the colors of the bars to be the same. Can you show me how to do that? I have tried setting Chart1.AllSeries.Color = Drawing.Color.SteelBlue When I expand the tree in the dimension, I get multiple colors visible. Thanks, Chris Exley
  18. Thanks, it worked fine on the test program, but did little on the actual application. When I drag an annotation with the mouse, ChartFX repaints the whole chart at each mouse event, and because I'm using a lot of points (say 6 series of 90000 points each) , it takes ages (well, seconds) to repaint. Is there a way to tell ChartFX that it can repaint the selected annotation (the one that I'm dragging), but not the others, and especially not the curves ? Thanks in advance. Bruno

  20. Hi, I have a chart that I am exporting to flash for use in printing as well as rendering to PNG output for display on a webpage. I have set the pointlabels to be the following: Chart1.Point[0,i].Tag = name + "\n" + val; Chart1.Point[0,i].PointLabelFont = new Font("Verdana", 8, System.Drawing.FontStyle.Bold); Chart1.Point[0,i].PointLabels = true; When this gets rendered in the PNG it comes up nicely over two lines. In the flash swf - it seems to get to the line break "\n" and chokes and anything after that does not get displayed. Does the flashwriter handle linebreaks in point labels cor

  22. In the trial of the full version of ChartFx .NET 6.2 I was able to set the colors of the individual bars (of the same series), but the Lite version doesn't allow me to do that. Is this a limitation of the Lite version? The code I'm using is this: Chart1.Point(0).Color = Color.Red Chart1.Point(1).Color = Color.Yellow Chart1.Point(2).Color = Color.Blue I also have a pie chart and setting colors on it works. I just can't figure out what do to with the bar chart. Thanks!

  24. Hi, I'm trying to create a line graph with 2 series using a datatable in .NET. The data looks like this: Date ActualQty GoalQty 20061201 100 Null 20061202 300 250 20061203 500 Null 20061204 200 Null 20061205 400 Null 20061206 500 Null 20061207 600 Null 20061208 300 Null 20061209 250 300 20061210 220 Null I want to have the lines in each series be connected. The GoalQty is sporadic but I want it to be drawn with connecting lines
