    ToolTips

I can't seem to get the ToolTips to display. When I hover over a series, it doesn't show anything at all. Is there a trick to this? I'm using the latest version (7.0.2543.32144) Thanks a ton.

  3. To mimic the horizontal stacked bar, we are using gantt chart with stacked (single series data). This worked fine, i could have different colors for pieces of the bar, different tooltips in IE, etc. But the problem is that the image displayed in the IE includes a white space around the bar. I have set almost every thing to false, like border, dataset, legend, etc but it still shows this white space around the bar. How to supress the white space around the bar. I wanted only the horizontal stacked bar with no white space around it. Any help is much appreciated? Regards, Sreeni
  4. Looking thru the postings, the ChartFX.Lite product works with VS2005. But I am getting the following error, when I try to use it in VS2005: Generation of designer file failed: Type 'SoftwareFX.ChartFX.Lite.Internet.Chart' does not have a public property named 'chart'. I am running VS2005SP1. It works fine in my VS2003 project. 8. Hi! I want to extend the drawing process of a gauge, so I can add additional information. For example our customer wants the min and max values of the stripes to be displayed at their respective places. Thanks! Oliver Denzel

  11. Francisco, I was experimenting with different settings and found that if I set the AxisX.LabelAngle to something greater than 0 that sometimes the labels appeared. I finally stumbled on this text in the help for the Axis.Style property. Note: If the axis contains dates (Date Axis) the AutoFirstLabel property will position the first label at the end of the month. If the AutoFirstLabel is turned OFF, the labels will be shown using the first avaialble date and advanced using the Step property setting. I don't understand why anyone would want dates to display this way but the
  12. Francisco, I think I figured out what is causing the bad chart. Our customer is not specifying a title for the right Y-Axis. In this case, our code is setting the right Y-Axis title to an empty string. If the customer navigates to this page and this is the first chart they create, the problem occurs. If they navigate to this page, chart something else that has a right Y-Axis title, change their mind and then delete the Y-Axis title, the chart is displayed correctly without the title for the right Y-Axis. We are still setting the title to an empty string when they delete the title
  13. Francisco, I captured a good chart and a bad chart and attached them to this message. I did a binary compare and there is only one area where the bytes are different. I hope this helps you. 14. Francisco, Thank you very much for all of your help with my previous issue. I have a problem where only 1 date label displays on the X-Axis when there is room to display more. I am allowing the ChartFX code to decide how the X-Axis date labels should be displayed on the chart. With some data, only 1 date displays (see the graphs I attached in the second message of the post "When running in .NET mode if I have a rotated 3D Chart and I select the button to go back to 2D mode, I get a System.OverflowException: Overflow error") even though there is more room to display more dates. Is
  15. Hi there, We're having problems with cyrillic characters on our chartfx installation - they are all showing up as question marks and we're not entirely sure how to fix it. Any advice appreciated Cheers Simon
  16. Thanks Francisco, I have tried some other PC´s and it still takes a long time to load. I will investigate further. 17. I am sorry about that. If I would have read the script I would have realized the value was what we needed not the URI to the classid. I could not get IE to give me the option of downloading the file since it was trying to process it as XML. I used FireFox to grab it. I have attached the file to this eMail. Thank you for your help. 18. Francisco, Thank you very much for your prompt reply. We really appreciate it. I don´t see the <OBJECT> tag in the source since we are running the .NET client. Our source contains this <script src="/chartfx70/pss/ChartFX.aspx?id=0-011013184&type=js&mime=application%2fx-javascript"></script> <script>cfx_replace_TrendControl$_trendChart();</script> If I put "/chartfx70/pss/ChartFX.aspx?id=0-011013184&type=js&mime=application%2fx-javascript" in the IE address bar I get an XML error but when I view the source it contains this func
  19. I created a test application that loads the smallest possible chart with all properties set to false and it takes 30 seconds to load. Is this delay my PC loading the framework? My PC is Dell D610 with 1.7 Pentium M processor with 1.5GB. Is there anyway of speeding up the framework? 20. We noticed that when we usually get this error the Charts are not rendered correctly. See the attached BadChart.png and the GoodChart.png. We have no idea what causes the charts to be corrupted when they are rendered by the PSS service since we are using the exact same data, axes, etc. If we close IE and rerun the chart sometimes it will be good and sometimes it will be bad. Thank you. "Dan" <DanielL_550@hotmail.com> wrote in message news:tRDP%23eDNHHA.3068@webserver3.softwarefx.com... > When running in .NET mode if I have a rotated 3D Chart and I select the > button
  21. When running in .NET mode if I have a rotated 3D Chart and I select the button to go back to 2D mode, I get a System.OverflowException: Overflow error. This exception also happens intermittently when I am rotating the chart. This does not always happen but it does happen frequently enough to be a problem for our customers. Apparently the exception is not handled properly by the ChartFX code when calling System.Drawing.Graphics.DrawLine from ChartFX.NetIEClient.Internal.GraphicsEx.DrawLine. Do you know when this will be fixed? Thank you. See the end of this message for details
  22. Okay thanks for saving me some time. We need to be able to support both local and remote. So we will stay with our winforms version of Chartfx for now.
