User (Legacy)
Hello. I was wondering how I display an image to the user if either: 1. They don't want to download and install the ActiveX component. 2. Their security settings prevent them from downloading and installing the component. 3. The component somehow doesn't function properly. I want every user to be able to see a chart. I don't want there to be blank spaces or broken images, etc. I would assume that there's something easy to handle this. I just don't know what it might be. Thanks for your help. Software FX
There is no automatic way (that I know of) for you to detect if the user clicked NO when prompted to install the ActiveX control or if they disabled ActiveX controls. You would have to allow users to select if active charts work for them and persist this on a cookie or in the server if you are saving other personalized information. -- Regards JC Software FX Support "Brian Elcock" <brian.elcock@us.wmmercer.com> wrote in message news:$gwvg#TyBHA.1560@webserver1.softwarefx.com... > Hello. > > I was wondering how I display an image to the user if either: > > 1.
