ASP.NET 2, Ajax, Chartfx 2005

We are looking to move to ASP.NET 2 but we have some questions for

Softwarefx.

1. Can the Chartfx 2005 be used on an ASP.NET 2 webpage

2. Can Chartfx 2005 take advantage of Ajax methodologies

3. Will ANYTHING be lost if all code is server side and no controls will

be installed on the client PC. This includes exporting and

extensions (Gauge, Statistics, OLAP)

Thanks

Yes.

Yes. We built a whole engine that allows you to create fully interactive

charts without the need for a client control (ActiveX/.NET Windows Forms,

although we provide those as well), this engine use AJAX heavily to provide

smooth and fast transitions.

Some functionality is only available using the Client controls, and some of

the functionality has a different UI, however most of the commands are

provided with the new DHTML/AJAX engine.

Extensions do not provide DHTML UI at this time, this support will be added

in the near future.
