OLAP - Is there a limited number of Dimensions

What are the limitations as far as dimensions and measures that can be

returned to the OLAP cube?

I am trying to return 4 dimensions (each with 3 levels), the measures

collection (contains 6 members).  The problems are:

1.  The performance is slow.

2.  Not all dimensions and levels are returned.

If what I am trying to do is possible, could you post an example on a

complex MDX statement that I can use as a guide.  My own MDX Statements work

in analysis Services, and returns the expected results, but ChartFX seems to

choke on the amount of data.
