SteveTR
Hi, I inherited a VS C# application that uses ChartFx. The developer who created the application does not work here anymore and I am trying to recompile the application and running into a few issues. I'm hoping someone can help. We have a license for ChartFx. When I check it thru www.mysoftwarefx.com/compliance, it says the license is for "Chart FX 7 (Window Forms) Additional Developer". I had to move the license from one PC to another. The original developer's instructions said to install ChartFX using the ChartFXVS2005WinForms.exe file. I did that. When I open Visual Studio (2010 Premium) I don't see any ChartFX tools in the tool box. Should I? In our network drive that has the ChartFXVS2005WinForms.exe file, there is also a CfxExtPackVS2005.exe and a CfxNet70ServicePack.exe file. Do I need to also install one of these? What are thies other install files used for? I did see the article to manually install ChartFX to the Toolbox by adding the ChartFX.ReportingServices.Designer.dll file, but I don't see this file in the ChartFX directory. Thanks for any help.
