fspeece
Hello, I'm testing a migration from windows server 2003 to windows 2012 R2. First question is, does Chart FX 5.5 Internet work on 2012 R2? I have installed it and it generates charts with out errors however it has font rendering issues (Attached), which I'm told by one of our developers that this may be related to the License not getting recognized properly. I did some googling and searched through these forms some but no luck so far. I know this is old and out of support software but I need to get this to work with out using up our developers time upgrading chartFX right now. I added the MIME types to the website in IIS for lic and chw and the license file is readable from a web browser. Anything else I can check? Thank you, Fred
fspeece
Also I'm running this on a 1 CPU, VMWare Workstaion 9 VM if that matters, with a production license. I followed this KB but it didn't help the font issues: http://support.softwarefx.com/Chart_FX_Internet_62/article/2501515#33a11a77-05ca-e211-84a5-0019b9e6b500 Not sure if there is an equivelent for v5 for the "Chart FX Virtual Folder" step though. Has anyone got this version working on 64bit windows 2012 R2?
fspeece
We finally found out it it was actually the font we were using for the charts, some change or incompatibility with windows 2012 R2. We were using Arial, a basic font that should work. The fuzzy font being a licensing problem idea was a mistake by my developer. Good for us we can keep using this ancient component
