• Re: Sound in Gadgets?
Is it possible to have a sound file played when the data changes? For example when a counter is increased we want to hear once sound and then when the counter decreases we would like to hear another sound. Thanks, Ted
Actually, how are you using...

  • Re: Auto-refresh / updates for webparts

This feature has been included in our to do list for one of our upcoming service packs. We don't have a specific timeframe for when this will be implemented, but will very likely be included in our third service pack. Our first service pack, scheduled to release later this month, will include the...

  • Re: Auto-refresh / updates for webparts

Your request is very valid and an implementation request has been already posted to our engineering team. We expect to include the auto-refresh functionality in an upcoming service pack, although the specific timeframe is not available yet. I'd appreciate if you could give us feedback that will help...

  • Re: Apparent Bug in Single x-value out-charts when Refreshing

Good morning, Juan I gave it a try this morning and received the error below. I am running version Version: 1.0. 2760 .16652, which is the latest build available that I can find on the PG web-site. "2760" looks strangely close but lower than "2769." Are these two numbers related?...

  • Apparent Bug in Single x-value out-charts when Refreshing

Hi Gang, It appears to me that there is some bug or intended function that is undesirable in many situations involving the out-chart with refresh. If you create an out-chart .PS1 gadget that is attached to dynamic data and the first rendering of the gadget results in a single x-axis value (point, column...

  • -refresh within script block does not work

When I tried this script, &{get-date | out-gauge -refresh 0:0:1} An error icon appears on the gauge which says closing "}" is missing. I guess out-gauge captures commands before pipe so that error would be reasonable. Any workaround to use refreshing commands within a single line script...

  • Add a last updated value to a chart

Hello- I've been playing around with this for a couple of days and have so far made a number of very useful charts. One very cool one shows the current latency of our Citrix farm by office. The datasource updates every 15 minutes. I'd like to add the last updated time to the chart somehow, for...

  • Re: Function not recognized

In order to refresh independently from the PowerShell session that created the gadget (so that you can close it and keep the gadget alive) we are hosting powershell and it seems we are not loading the functions in your profile. We will check if we can fix this bug in our next service pack. In the meantime...

  • Re: out-gauge: Using refresh with a multiline statement

Unfortunately the mechanism we use to get the command being executed only returns information about the current line, so in your test, out-gauge sees no previous command. The problem can get worse if you do something like get-date -uformat ` "%S" | out-gauge -refresh 0:0:15 In this case out...
