I Have just noticed in another thread it is not compatible with a 64 bit system so this might be my problem- It still doesnt help me much though Is any one oyt there? Mike

Error 1 Unable to resolve type 'SoftwareFX.ChartFX.Lite.Chart, ChartFX.Lite, Version=6.0.839.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=a1878e2052c08dce' etc I have just moved a project from VB8 to VB 2010 and although this project no longer has any reference to chartfx.lite as far as i can see. I am getting this error. The licence file is still in the project directory and if i remove it i just get more errors about not being able to load temporary keys. I have searched the project for any reference to chartfx and apart from the license there isn't any I am at a complete loss as to how to proceed as i have got to get on with this job. any help would be appreciated Mike
