ChartFX Java Desktop Run Time licence problem.

    ChartFX Java Desktop Run Time licence problem.

    Hello, I have downloaded the Chart FX 7 Trial version for Java Dekstop and installed in my job computer. When i want run samples, i obtain this errors Exception in thread "AWT-EventQueue-0" com.softwarefx.sfxnet.internal.fk: Couldn't get Run Time license for 'com.softwarefx.chartfx.desktop.internal.Chart' .... However, i have also installed trial version in my personal computer and it works. Thanks you in advance.

     Hi,

    Chart FX 7 for Java Desktop installer puts the trial the license as a registry entry. If you installed Chart FX with an account that is not administrator or does not have enough pemissions, the installer will not write the registry. Then Chart will look for that entry and if not found will throw the "Couldn't get Run Time license" message. The registry entry you should look is: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\JavaSoft\Prefs\/Classes/Root\/Licenses\9cdf80d0-1f77-4ee1-bd2a-c2a8d592345f

     So, please log with your administrator account. Domain account not always has the same permissions. unistall your product and reinstall it again.

    Hi 

    i've the same problem that described Thierry. I installed Chart FX 7 Trial version for Java Dekstop in Administrator account but didn't create the registry entry.
    What can i do?
    i've windows XP SP3 & java jdk 1.6.0_15

     Please check your security settings. If you have an antivirus, turn it off for a while , while reinstalling the product. So, try to unistall it and install it again.

    Hi, I removed my antivirus and the same problem appears. I tried in 3 distinct PCs with administrator account too and the problem persist. All PCs have Windows XP SP3 spanish, java 1.6.0_15. i'm really interested in your product, but i can't evaluate it. Thanks
